Fascias and Soffit Replacements in Gretna

Category : Uncategorised

We recently fitted new Fascia’s and Soffits on a house in Gretna, Dumfries and Galloway.

3 reasons why you may need new Fascia’s and Soffits:

  1. Cracked or flaking paint – not only does this affect the aesthetics of the exterior of your house but it can also lead to leaks.
  2. Hidden problems of rot – Originally made from low grade softwood timber, they are prone to rot and so require regular maintenance, something that many homeowners leave until it is too late.
  3. Maintenance – Maintaining wooden fascia and soffit is an ongoing task. Most of us don’t want to work at heights so that involves hiring a painter and waiting for a dry day to get the work done.

New Windows for Dryfesdale Hotel in Lockerbie

Category : Recent Work

Part 1..

Did you know?  It’s not just domestic windows that we offer, we have a huge amount of experience working with commercial businesses also.  This month we’re really excited to working with the Dryfesdale Hotel in Lockerbie to improve their windows and add a modern touch to their function room exterior.  They had got in touch looking for a reliable local company to replace old double glazing and we knew we were right for the job.  With plans to replace their old windows with double-glazed white UPVC windows plus brand new fascia’s, this will really brighten up the hotel and enhance its appeal.   This local business hosts many weddings and is keen to make sure it’s appearance is in tip-top shape and not to mention that the hotel is as energy efficient as it can possibly be.

Stay tuned for Part 2 where we show the final result, we can’t wait to share!
